Homeless: City's new approach is generous, genius
Re: "City embarks on its plan to address homelessness," (TNT, 5/21).
The article today is encouraging. There is hope that people will heal, find a better life, work and eventually a real home.
People in the encampment should be grateful for all that is offered to them. Grateful everytime they hear a truck bring in pure water, showers and assistance to become good citizens of the city they live in.
After all, we are here on this earth for a good reason: to care for one another as well as ourselves. The goal is to appreciate
better conditions and learn to live in a humane manner, not in the wild.
Whoever thought of this is a genius in my book.
