Health care: No pity for wealthy insurance companies
Enough about the poor, beleaguered, profit-making health insurance companies, and how the market uncertainties are making it hard for them to set their rates or forcing them to pull out of certain unprofitable states.
What about the millions of disabled people who, according to the Congressional Budget Office, will lose their coverage under the Republican House plan, or those who will be forced out of nursing homes? What about the people who will go bankrupt because of medical expenses or the exorbitant cost of healthcare?
The health insurance companies will do just fine.
