Inslee: Public input before signing BDS letter

Gov. Jay Inslee recently signed the Governors Against BDS letter circulated by the American Jewish Committee. In my opinion, the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement) is a very effective, peaceful and well thought out strategy for Palestinians, who are striving for their human rights and to put their case before the world.

Since the governor represents the people of Washington, there needed to be public discussion about the roll of BDS before he signed this letter.

He signed it without any public discussion. Hopefully he will make his views and reasoning public in the very near future.
