Chambers Bay: Bah humbug to pro golf snobs
Re: “Chambers Bay still a gem without U.S. Open,” (TNT editorial, 6/20).
After pandering to the multi-millionaire golfers of the professional tour, for them to criticize our beautiful Chambers Bay course is more than I can bear.
I desperately need their approval. I mean, how can I go on?
There can’t possibly be a course anywhere on the planet as wondrous and breathtaking as this. Don’t they understand Puget Sound is readily visible? And access is granted through the beautiful tree-lined city of University Place.
No, we don’t have the Louvre or Eiffel Tower, but along several blocks on Bridgeport Way in the heart of our city, we do have a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe’s.
So there! Please, please like us already!
