Traffic: Exercise some patience this summer

In the summer, travel times are inevitably longer as more people are on the road and more hours of daylight increase construction and traffic delays.

It’s understandably difficult to stay patient when there’s no movement in sight; however, the need to be patient is extremely important as cases of road rage may lead to catastrophic accidents. Travelers need to remain calm and stay in the intended lanes of travel.

Not only should they remain attentive to their surroundings, but it is imperative they do not engage with their hand-held electronic devices in stop-and-go traffic. Distracted driving could lead to more accidents and impede travel times even more drastically.

Keeping informed and updated on travel time, construction delays and alternate routes is the most reliable solution to arriving to your destination in a timely and safe manner.
