Politics: People don't challenge own ideas anymore

On Comcast Channel 48, Fox News provides its loyal viewers with a certain slant on world and national events. Switch to channel 47 and MSNBC will give you, shall we say, a somewhat different take.

The choice is Sean Hannity on the right and Rachel Maddow in the opposite corner.

Too many of us don’t bother to seek out information anymore, but rather something quite different: affirmation.
