Trump: Cop brutality comments show he must go

When the president of the United States advocates police brutality as he did in a recent speech to New York police officers, it’s time to impeach him.

I know he says something scandalous almost every day, but this really is a misdemeanor such as our constitution refers to in “high crimes and misdemeanors” required for impeachment.

Equal treatment under the law and the presumption of innocence are fundamental rights in our country. For President Trump to advocate otherwise puts him in the camp of despots like President Duterte of the Philippines.

It’s time to impeach him now.
