Trump: Press treats him unfairly

In recent weeks, President Trump has been called a “psychopath” in Doonesbury, and compared to North Korea’s Kim Jong Un in an editorial cartoon. In addition, a constant barrage of editorials and supposed “news” articles have attacked the President.

It is no surprise that a liberal press does not like a Trump presidency. However, I have found the tone of The News Tribune to have become increasingly offensive towards Trump, and thus, offensive towards those of us many voters who support Trump’s policies.

I hardly think that some of these words and offensive cartoons would have been directed towards President Obama. If so, they would have been called racist; however, it seems as if anything is fair game with President Trump. It is frustrating and sad to see the hatred that is being directed towards our President by the press.
