Health care: Let's hear it for undervalued workers

As a 30-plus-year healthcare worker and union activist, I applaud Summerlove McClish for her courage to speak up.
We all, in healthcare, are experiencing a diminishing respect by employers when it comes to wages and benefits. Our healthcare costs continue to rise at our own facilities. Fair wages and benefits support a healthy economy and lifestyle.
Summerlove, I’ve never had to work as hard as you to support me or my family. I appreciate you for it and support you 100 percent.
