NFL Protests: Keep sports in sports section
I want to add my whine to this issue. I’m a guy that gets shivers when the national anthem is playing, but I still fully, absolutely, with no reservation, support people taking a knee.
My problem with this issue is it being on the opinion page. As a normal person who never reads the sports pages (which are not even good for fish wrap), I want to know how this is “news.”
Keep sports on the sports page. Karl Marx called religion the opiate of the masses. In our time it is football.
