Committed, creative and collaborative, with the goal of making things better: This is how I describe Puyallup City Council member Julie Door.
During her first term, Door has proven she can build a coalition and work alongside others to get things done.
I support her re-election because I want her to continue the good work the council has underway.
This includes the Safer School Sidewalks Program, the new spray park for kids and families in Pioneer Park, creating a shared use path on Shaw Road, and strategic investments such as the site purchased for police facilities on South Hill.

The council’s improved working relationship with the school district, Pierce County and local firefighters is creating a safe, vibrant community. These projects and partnerships will help keep our city a place where businesses want to invest and families want to live.
District 3 has concerns and perspectives that are distinct from downtown. It will benefit from continuing to have Door’s strong voice on the council.
