Trump: Alternate universe gets wilder every day

Each morning America wakes to an alternative universe filled with alternative facts and outright lies. This is the world of Trump, and it has been completely turned upside down.

He continues to attack the free press, Department of Justice and FBI, the judiciary, and other government institutions.

These attacks are to distract the public from the Mueller investigation into the possible collusion and obstruction of justice during and after the 2016 election.

Trump’s actions are destroying relations with our historical allies. He pulled out of the Trans-Pacific trade agreement, the Paris Climate accord and the nuclear treaty with Iran against objections from these allies and even some of his own advisers.

Then he blew up the recent G-7 summit by insulting these allies and threatening tariffs on them.

While attacking our friends, he heaps praise on autocrats and dictators: Putin, Duterte, King Al Saud, Erdogan, and now Kim Jong-un. They are despots who hold absolute power and exercise it in a cruel and oppressive way.

Trump goes against norms, believes he is above the law and now claims to have absolute pardon power.
