Re: “This year’s election(s) matter, and we’re here to help,” (TNT, 7/8).
No matter what the subject or circumstance, the TNT editorial staff always feels it has to throw out some snide remark, barb or insult towards President Trump.
The latest such instance was in the column by editorial page editor Matt Misterek, about how the TNT goes about making election endorsements.
It doesn’t name the president, but Misterek couldn’t resist an opportunity to throw out another barb at our president:
Be the first to know.
No one covers what is happening in our community better than we do. And with a digital subscription, you'll never miss a local story.
“Voters have the power to reverse or continue the tide of distress and dysfunction unleashed on the 2nd Tuesday of November 2016.”
I know the TNT staff hates Trump and that’s fine, but why throw barbs when discussing something completely dissimilar?
Show some class and at least show respect for the office.
P.S. My and many others 401K’s and IRA’s are smiling now regardless of your ill will.
