Helsinki: Infusion of truth would be blessing
Sadly, more and more we find ourselves in an age of suspicion, distrust and conspiracies run amok.
The differing viewpoints regarding the Helsinki summit between President Trump and Vladimir Putin is merely the latest example.
So, who to believe? To trust is perilous and not to trust may also be perilous. Most of us would prefer to be skeptical but not cynical.
Two thousand years ago Jesus came to earth to “bear witness to the truth”. Evidently he felt there was a great need for it at that time.
Looks like we could use an infusion of this rare commodity now as well.
