Congressional election: Candidate misrepresented on vaccines

Dr. Kim Schrier, a pediatrician running for Congress in Washington District 8, believes every medically eligible child should be immunized. This is the position she takes in her practice. She has given out an estimated 100,000 vaccinations to more than 5,000 children during her career. Her position on vaccines is clearly stated on her website.

Therefore, it was more than disappointing and very frustrating to many of us when we received a mailer from the Shannon Hader campaign portraying Schrier as being opposed to vaccines.

Distorting the facts about an opponent’s position to gain votes is disturbing. Don’t be misled by misinformation and negative campaign attacks.

Let’s set the record straight because WA08 voters need a representative who will work to move our district forward with honesty and integrity, and that candidate is Schrier.
