Aretha Franklin: Goodbye to a standout person
Over my life of 80 years there are many, many people who stand out, not because they were leaders of powerful nations, and not because they developed a cure for some disease or won a big award.
I choose these special people because of the life they lived. They are honest, hard working, and moral standouts. They are what I hope my children and grandchildren aspire to become.
We all have these people. For me, they include Tony Dungy, Steve Largent and Aretha Franklin.
