Teacher strike: Military professionals set standard

Many in our military are at least as well educated as your average “dedicated” teacher. Even in the enlisted ranks, many have college degrees.

Their profession is certainly more high-risk than being a teacher. And those benefits you hear about are minimal. Their salary is not nearly what they deserve.

Yet you never see military personnel going out on strike, especially for personal gain.

Maybe our teachers should learn the definition of the word “dedication.”
