Homeless: What about rights of Puyallup homeowners?

“Suit by homeless won’t be the last,” (Matt Driscoll column, 9/25).

Here is the truth of the homeless population in Puyallup.

My senior-aged parents live by the Riverwalk Trail. They have had their garage broken into. They have had police run through their back yard.

A homeless man tried to break into their home while they were inside. The homeless population set fires nearby this past summer. The homeless walk past their house throughout the day and night, incoherent, rambling and shouting at nothing.

My parents no longer walk the Riverwalk.

Quiet Puyallup life has turned into a constant vigil of security and fear, and City Council member Robin Farris can’t see past her one-sided views

This is what the homeless population brings to Puyallup. This is what makes Farris a dangerous member of the council.

If a lawsuit is the way to go, the homeless proponents should prepare themselves for what will happen when someone comes after them for damages caused by the homeless.
