Term limits: They’re sorely needed at U.S. Capitol

I am concerned about the deep partisan divide on Capitol Hill and am not thrilled that these leaders are voting policies on the basis of being re-elected. Our political representatives should focus on what is best for our nation during their tenure, not view their jobs as a life long career.

There is too much temptation to stay in the job longer than necessary with big money flowing from corporations and billionaires for political sway.

The presidency has a term limit. Let’s make it so with the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court. We need to insist on having Democratic and Republican lawmakers who will cooperate and compromise for the good of all the American people.
