Shutdown: Trump desperate for scapegoat
President Trump promised a wall since day one of his presidency. The Republicans controlled the House and Senate for two years and no wall was funded.
Why didn’t he shut down the government during those two years? He waited until Democrats won the House to do so.
Why? He needed a scapegoat to blame for his and his party’s failure.
