Climate: Reelecting Trump could bring doom

The most recent United Nations report on climate change predicts a dramatic 5.8 Fahrenheit degree increase in global temperatures by the end of this century unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse emissions are taken immediately.

Instead of leading the battle to save our planet, President Trump spends nearly all his precious time paralyzed by irrational phobias and extremist conspiracy theories.

His denial of global warming is bad enough, but for the ostensible leader of the free world to aggressively undermine efforts of others in the U.S. and around the world is utter lunacy and suicidal.

His inexplicable reversal of President Obama’s fuel efficiency standards, gutting of EPA programs and climate change staff, emasculating renewable energy policies and preventing collection of scientific evidence pose a real threat to the survival of mankind.

The prospect of Trump having four more years to undermine planet-saving efforts is terrifying. Is the political survival of one person worth the impending, predictable destruction of life as we know it?
