Pelosi: Defending abortion is poor proof of faith
Talking to the press recently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi proclaimed that she’s Catholic, and that she prays for President Trump. “I don’t hate anyone,” she said. For effect, Pelosi occasionally sprinkles God into her speeches, too.
However, she also openly supports the pro-choice movement whose members advocate and readily promote abortion.
Abortion is murder! Obviously, fertilized eggs are a person-in-the-making.
Isn’t the Catholic Church’s 5th Commandment still, “Thou shalt not kill”? Pope Benedict actually met with Pelosi in 2009 and said that it’s the duty of all Catholics, especially lawmakers, to protect human life at every step.
How can Pelosi call herself a Catholic, express belief in God and sanction abortion? Does she place herself above the Pope, the Roman Catholic Church and the Creator of all life?
If her mother had chosen to abort her, Pelosi would have nothing to say about anything.
