Abortion: Taking a wallet is wrong, but taking a baby’s life is OK?

In Washington abortion is legal, and maybe I cannot change that law, but I can still let my voice be heard.

It is reported that a baby’s heart will start beating 22 days after conception. This ought to be enough for us to recognize the life that is being created inside a mother’s womb.

We should not be allowed to throw away human life, or infringe upon a person’s rights, simply because it inconveniences us.

If I were to infringe upon your rights – say, I stole your wallet, then claimed I was only using my right to pursue happiness – would that be acceptable? No.

By exercising my rights as I see them, I would be infringing upon your rights as another human being. How much more then should we strive to protect the lives of unborn children.
