Adam Schiff: Inspirational voice in Jimmy Stewart mold
“Adam Schiff Rocks!” is a common lead-in on social media. His eloquence and passion are truly refreshing and moving. He seems to be an amazing lawyer, but perhaps an even better orator.
His challenge to senators to exhibit the same courage and integrity shown by several of our career diplomats, at great risk to their careers, should at least compel senators to take a hard look in the mirror.
Those of us who remember the movie “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” will recall Jimmy Stewart’s impassioned plea that inspired an entire Congress.
Well, we need Jimmy, and we need him now. For a while there it looked like we might have found him in Adam Schiff.
