College: More online classes better for cost savings
“Washington may have trouble paying for college plan,” (TNT, 1/27).
Getting a college degree may be much more affordable with a laptop computer and online courses from an accredited online college or university. The only exception may be laboratory or performance-type classes for which you must make special arrangements.
Thus, the shortfall in state funding for students of higher education should be manageable, since many college classes can be effectively and.economically taught online.
