Panic buyers: Three words they should live by

Most of us have now seen the empty shelves at the grocery stores. But what are people thinking? That buying a truckload of toilet paper will somehow stop the coronavirus from getting to them?

How about all the dry foods like rice and pasta? Do they think a high-carb diet boosts immunity?

(Wash your hands.)

Same with canned goods and frozen foods. Does a massive stockpile of groceries suddenly become protection from getting sick?

(Wash your hands.)

Here’s a thought: Buy what you actually need so that others are able to buy what they actually need. And if you really want to have an effective plan to get through this COVID-19 crisis, try these three steps:

1. Wash your hands.

2. Don’t panic.

3. Wash your hands.
