Price gouging: People’s true natures exposed
Today’s crisis of the coronavirus disease shows the mentality of modern society. Unfortunately in time of crisis, people reveal their true selves.
The “me, me, me” and “money, money, money” philosophy are pathetic tells of how some people are concerned only with their own needs.
Just look on social media sites and see the outrageous prices people are selling hand sanitizer and toilet tissue. I cannot get one bottle of hand sanitizer but was fortunate to find some toilet tissue, 21 rolls to be exact.
Just a bit of advice to everyone out there who doesn’t have access to needed items because the shelves are emptied by hoarders:
Do not buy from mass online sellers on sites such as Offer Up! If there are no buyers, hopefully these sellers will have really clean hands for years to come and enough toilet tissue to TP entire neighborhoods.
