Democrats: Trump ‘hoax’ quote twisted out of context
Re: “Virus ‘hoax’ claim was Trump’s worst lie yet,” (TNT letter, 3/27).
Please let this letter writer know know that his hatred for President Trump has taken him down the rabbit hole where the misinformed state their opinions and spew them out as facts.
When you tell people that someone said something, then you need to put that statement in quotes and in context. I did a little research and found the quote: “The Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. They tried the impeachment. This is their new hoax.”
The Dems will use any opportunity to blame Trump for a situation; the Wuhan/coronavirus is a fabulous opportunity to spread fake news, when he was simply referring to the numerous hoaxes they’ve politicized.
Enough is enough; leave politics out of this worldwide pandemic and don’t spread fake news. It, too, can be deadly.
