Stay at home: Too many don’t take it seriously

As a homeschooled high school student, much of my day-to-day activities have remained the same. However, my older brother, who works at a grocery store, has shared the numbers of people he encounters at work who don’t seem to be taking this order seriously.

Because of this I feel they should crack down on it more for the benefit of all. People not taking this seriously is causing it to continue longer for us all.

When I see people on the news at beaches still having fun, I get irritated that this will all take longer to get over.

I wish we could find a way to make people understand how selfish it is to continue to go out. And the hoarding of toilet paper and other goods is mindboggling.

I want to ask people if their trip out for non-essentials is worth destroying high school seniors’ graduations, or people’s birthdays or other celebrations. It’s not like we get a do over!
