Double standard: Biden eludes Trump-level scrutiny

Re: “Trump’s ignorant drug advice is par for the course,” (TNT letter, 4/26).

If you watched the daily briefing the president made that included the disinfectant treatment/injection, you would know it was an off-hand remark to his staff.

He alluded to UV light treatment and mentioned maybe using something like an internal disinfectant. He ended with, “maybe it could be looked at by doctors.” He did not recommend it as a treatment.

But, again a never-Trumper has skewed the facts. Not all, but most, complaints and criticisms about President Trump are out of context, distortions or outright lies.

Why is there a huge difference in scrutiny between Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden? Biden would fail under the same scrutiny and must be protected by the progressive media.
