Trump: His military authority reaches new low

Has President Trump truly ever cared about right and wrong in the military? He pardoned an accused murderer who supposedly shot unarmed civilians and supposedly killed innocent children.

He also sanctioned the removal of a Navy captain from his command because this captain had much concern for the welfare of his men, as any great leader should. (There was a big outbreak of COVID-19 on his ship.)

Now Trump is insisting to give the commencement speech at West Point military academy. A thousand Army cadets have to come back, and while the event takes place outdoors, the cadets and family members will have to expose themselves to the virus while flying on planes.

If they don’t get sick, they might carry the virus home and get elderly family members sick.

This event should be canceled in the name of humanity.
