Heroes: Choice is yours; don’t be a zero
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that in the midst of crises, there are always heroes and zeroes. For example, during 9/11, you had heroes running to help the injured and zeroes racing around looting other people’s property.
This has always been the human condition. There have always been heroes that get us through hard times and zeroes who only care about themselves.
I truly believe that as usual, the heroes will get us through this COVID-19 crisis – the doctors, nurses, EMTs, police and firefighters, grocery clerks, gas station attendants and brave delivery people bringing us supplies.
And don’t forget the heroes staying home despite incredible hardships.
Stay safe, please. Be a hero.
