Generosity: Let it shine in this time of crisis

This showed up in my Facebook feed recently. It is from a guy who drives a truck for a living:

“If any of my friends need anything, feel free to (personal message) me. I’m still working and can help out if needed. I’m not loaded or anything but if you need some help let me know and I will do what I can. I know a lot of my friends are bartenders and restaurant workers, I won’t speak of it to anyone. Hope everyone is alright, love y’all.”

For me, this is the spirit of America. I like to think that most people feel this same way: Treat other people the way you’d like to be treated.

This is how we’ll get out of this current mess, and this is how we’ll make tomorrow better. Onward and upward, with kindness.
