Reopening: Be considerate of lucky neighbors

Some Washington counties have worked hard and have been lucky to drive down the infection rate for COVID-19.

They are moving to Phase 2, and some of their non-essential businesses are opening to serve residents of those areas

Those of us still in high infection rate areas should give some consideration to those counties and states that are opening up.

Before running off to get a hairdo, enjoy a sit-down meal in a restaurant or patronize a non-essential business, ask yourself if those folks really want us there.

Remember that we enjoy the liberty to travel wherever we want only because we care about the common good.

Are you so desperate for a hairdo or restaurant meal that you would selfishly jeopardize the common good?

Stay home and let those lucky folks recover safely. They’ll welcome you soon enough.
