Riots: Brace yourselves for election aftermath

The people who turned a peaceful protest into rioting, burning and looting will probably never be prosecuted. They had the benefit of COVID-19 masks, and now our beloved Seattle is in ruin.

It’s a mess and it’s worse than the WTO riots.

Thugs see opportunity when peaceful demonstrations gather large crowds. They use the internet to invite like-minded anarchists to have a little “fun”. They are all criminals empowered by the flames of chaos. They live for it.

The destruction is the product of a lot of pent-up frustration from racism, police brutality, isolation during the stay at home orders, pandemic unemployment and a grim recession that will soon follow.

Brace yourselves. Things are going to get worse before they get better, no small thanks to our country’s lack of leadership and a president who spews hate on a daily basis.

I hope our communities are ready for the riots that will follow the election in November. It’s inevitable.
