Protests: ‘Enough is enough’ rings loud and clear

“Hundreds protest against police brutality in march from Wright Park to Tacoma’s North End,” (TNT, 6/1).

I am very heartened and proud of the people in the student-organized protest for racial justice.

It speaks volumes that despite the need be cautious and safe in this current pandemic, so many people still chose with their actions to say in essence, “Enough is enough!”

Since this march and those all over the country are multi-racial in nature, there is a greater potential for the movement to have positive long-term effects.

I am sure for each of these people it has been a challenge to channel their anger and grief in constructive ways. They all have my strong support and gratitude.

David Lambert, Fircrest
