Free speech: Media only likes to have it one way

The media is totally biased when it covers protests. Contrast its coverage of recent protests with the 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia protests. The left wing gets a free ride, while there are no good people on the right.

During recent protests the media, the police and the government constantly brought up the need to protect the First Amendment. But in the past three years the First Amendment has yet to be mentioned in the context of Charlottesville.

From my experiences, observations and readings, I think that the media brings about state censorship itself. There are vast populations whose ideas are not protected speech because the media censors and suppresses us, rather than standing up for our rights.

Hopefully, people in the media do not hypothetically expect us to fight for their constitutional rights.
