Franklin Pierce: Why stop after dropping his name?
Re: “Franklin Pierce unworthy of county name,” (TNT editorial, 6/19).
Lets all get on the bandwagon and rename Pierce County. We also must not forget Jefferson County and Adams County; I’m sure every one of those presidents was a slave owner.
Most of all rename the state of Washington because George Washington was a slave owner. Let’s just forget that he won the war from the almight British.
Last of all rename Washington, D.C.
Let us just erase history. The Russians do it, so we must do it, too.
