Maskless: How will you feel if worst happens?
Some things to consider during the pandemic:
The official request is to wear masks, wash hands and practice social distancing. For those who perceive they have the right to disregard the federal CDC safety protocol as administered by our state government, whether you consider the governor’s orders legal or not, here’s something to help put things into perspective:
Pierce County residents have an approximately 1-in-300 chance of getting the virus, and those odd are not improving.
If you or one of your close friends is infected and neither shows symptoms (or at least not yet), how are you going to feel if your wife, child or parent then becomes infected?
How will you feel if any of them dies or suffers greatly from secondary effects?
Under those circumstances, why would it be society’s obligation to provide financial assistance for medical care?
I would be concerned if these possibilities do not have any impact on your behavior.
It’s not about you; it’s about all of us.
