Eyman: New governor can turn fear to hope

I have been a citizen of Washington for 31 years now, and it distresses me to say: I have never seen the level of turmoil, fear and a sense of helplessness among the people of our state as I have in recent months.

Confusion, bewilderment and despair irrepressibly seep out from so many eyes barely viewable above mask lines, though some clandestinely pull their mask down to whisper a few anxious words.

Why these emotions and strange behaviors? I believe that Washingtonians no longer have any idea whom to believe and trust – especially with citizens being pitted against each other.

We have been demoralized, in shock of losing our freedom and rights seemingly overnight, as well as traditionally counted-on protections rapidly disappearing.

The remedy: a new governor. Tim Eyman is the candidate I believe will restore all we have lost – most importantly: hope.
