Protesters: Make your point, then write postcards
There is a real problem with crowds. They often lose all decency in carrying out their stated objective.
Those who protest for a moral cause often provide mass cover for the violent/immoral/illegal acts of others. Freedom is not separate from responsibility.
We need police actions for those who can’t remember they must respect the property and life of others.
In creating the conditions of chaos that foster property damage, theft and violence against others, protesters end up creating public demands for local police actions and federal interventions.
The solution for protesters is to realize their opinions have been heard but are not the only opinions, then go home and write postcards to their elected leaders.
Make your opinions known, peacefully.
