Congress: Kilmer shows up and listens to us
It’s rare to find a public servant as dedicated to their community as US Rep. Derek Kilmer.
He has an impressive record as a champion for us in DC - fighting to rush resources to our region during this pandemic, build an economy that works for everyone, restore Puget Sound and tackle climate change.
But equally impressive is the busy schedule he maintains here at home. Derek has held countless town halls and has visited hundreds of faith centers, nonprofits and local businesses.
He knows his constituents, and they know him. As a constituent, I see how those relationships inform his work every day.
In today’s political landscape, we need more elected officials like Derek, who spend more time talking directly to their constituents and less time politicking on cable news.
