Virus: America the rich fares very poorly
The US, with 333 million people, has now had more than 4.5 million COVID cases, and more deaths than any other country: more than 155,000. The US compares very badly to other rich democracies.
Germany has just a quarter of our population, at 83 million people, around 210,000 cases and 9,200 deaths. Germany didn’t play “let’s pretend” about the pandemic.
Is American freedom just about keeping businesses open, not wearing a mask and being free to spread the epidemic?
