Police: Seattle stumbles again with chief’s departure

The resignation of Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best is yet another 2020 tragedy. She is a true leader with decades of service and a common sense advocate who put the safety of the community and her officers first.

The Seattle City Council should refuse to accept her resignation and instead offer their own.
