Republicans: Grievance politics don’t stand up to scrutiny

One of the many ironies/hypocrisies of our current political madness is the grievance politics of the party of Trump.

Republicans have had the second most powerful person in government in their midst for 10 years, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who was voted in by the conservatives of one of our smallest states.

They have a president sworn in with a 3 million popular vote deficit. They had total control of the government for two years, and they have dominated at least three of the four main government bodies the past four years.

Yet they feel they are the ones whose rights are being trampled? Don’t confuse losing an election with losing your rights. The current state of the country is on Republicans’ watch.

Enough with the party of Trump’s put-upon whining. They have been in charge.
