Socialism: At odds with America’s best virtues

This country was founded on freedom. The original settlers were escaping countries that ruled from the top down. With the freedoms in the new world and capitalism that followed, the United States became the most productive nation in the world.

Now, we are faced with the extreme far left bringing socialism to our shores. The Biden-Sanders manifesto sets out in detail how Biden would govern. It destroys any pretense that Biden is a moderate.

His $2 trillion climate agenda would have little to do with the climate but everything to do with centralized power. They are against school choice and will eliminate or hobble charter schools.

Chaos is now occurring in Democrat cities, with local leaders doing little to stop it, preferring to inflict criminality on residents rather than accept help from the president. This would likely expand with Democrat power.

Socialism is the opposite of freedom. Remember Ronald Reagan’s words that “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.”
