Division: Path to unity is prayer, not protest
The Franklin Graham prayer walk last Saturday drew more than 50,000 people to Washington D.C. but did not get a mention in The News Tribune. But don’t feel bad, as most news channels did not mention it either.
This was a pretty big event, as prayers were made for all of our leaders.
Just let one white cop injure or kill a black person and it makes headlines. Protest parades are front-page stories. Black Lives Matter has become a motto that America is pressured into adhering to.
If the intent is to bring the country into union, it is failing. If the intent is to divide the nation, great progress is being made.
