Trump taxes: Time to put my 2 cents in
Last night, after hearing about the small amount our president has paid in taxes and the large amount he may owe, I sent a donation of 2 cents to the White House with the following note:
"Sir: Having heard about your tax problems and as a retired person having paid over $14,000 last year in taxes, I am enclosing a small donation to help you, knowing that as a citizen of this great land, it is my duty to help the less fortunate. Respectfully. Ronald M. Patterson.”
I urge others to make similar donations to help support our president.
