Remote learning: COVID-19 gives us an opportunity
This school year is unlike any other. As districts across the country move classrooms to a virtual environment, they’re beginning to realize that effective online learning requires a different approach.
You cannot successfully teach students in a digital classroom without adapting methods. Adjusting how we teach, lead and engage students is critical to making sure they succeed this year.
That’s one of the benefits of the world we now find ourselves in. It’s allowing us to reimagine how we deliver education across the nation. As everyone shifts their approach, we should consider how we can best prepare the next generation of students to set them up for success in our fast-changing society.
This is an opportunity to realign strategies that will help students be ready for whatever our beautiful world throws at them.
