ELECTION: Hines will put people before politics
John Hines is my choice for Tacoma City Council District 1.
I've lived in my neighborhood for 50 years and have watched many people run for office and serve on the council. Hines is smart, trustworthy, hard-working and down to earth.
He is not the kind of person who will say and do anything or misrepresent himself to get your vote. He is honest.
From his humble beginnings as a student at Lincoln High School to earning a scholarship to and graduating from the University of Puget Sound, he has built a stable career as an educator, mentor and coach. Hines is a natural leader who understands the issues that matter most to the residents and local businesses in our district.
Hines is the best choice for District 1. He will represent us well and has my enthusiastic endorsement and vote.
